Q: What part of the Certificate of Insurance process does your program help with?
A: Our program handles ALL the requesting, compliance verification, and follow up on non-compliant and expiring certificates that are requested. Sometimes you may need to override an insurance requirement or approve an endorsement we received.
Q: What types of reports are included with your services?
A: We have several standard reports that are available for you to use and the availability for you to request custom reports if you do not see one that works for you.
Q: What happens if I have a vendor/subcontractor/tenant that requires different insurance requirements than our other relationships?
A: Our program allows you to change insurance requirements at the vendor/subcontractor/tenant level directly from your dashboard. We are fully customizable to meet your specific business model needs.
Q: What is the cost of your services?
A: There are a number of factors that go into the equation of what your cost will be. We have two different pricing models, including client pay or our vendor participation program that minimizes your costs.
Q: What happens to our copy of the Certificate of Insurance?
A: All compliant and non-compliant certificates are stored on secure servers and accessible to you 24/7/365 through your online dashboard.
Q: How will I locate the necessary Certificates of Insurance if we are audited?
A: Our program allows you to search and batch print or export certificates to a zip file.
Q: Do you make expiring Certificate of Insurance requests?
A: Yes we follow up on ALL expiring certificates. We begin requesting a new certificate 30 days out, through an automated process.
Q: What happens if myCOI cannot get a renewal certificate on time?
A: If a policy expires before a renewal certificate is submitted, you will be alerted through your online dashboard and by an email alert.
Q: What if multiple people need to have access to the information?
A: myCOI allows for an unlimited number of users. You may also maintain control by using our different permission levels for each user.
Q: Do we need to install software on our system?
A: No. myCOI is a SaaS (software-as-a-service company) and is 100% web based. All you need is internet access.
Q: How long does it take to get your solution fully implemented?
A: Standard implementation is 3-4 weeks.
